You`ve arrived at the `real` website for wicked cool Toronto based sketch troop Smells like the 80s! And that can only mean one of two things - either your search engine took a wrong turn, or you are a die hard Smell-o-holic out for a night of fun facts about us, and we hope to not disappoint. Smells like
the 80s have been around in one form or another for over eight years!
During those years we`ve had the privilege of performing at such venues as The Rivoli, Pirate Video Cabaret, Tim Sims Playhouse, The Diesel Playhouse, Comedy Bar, Gay Goth Horror Shows, matching His and Her Church groups, an uncounted number of room mates, and of course in
Curtis` Garage. Smells like the 80s also beat out 50 of the areas best sketch troupes to win 2010 Sketchcomagedon and have appeared at the
last four Toronto SketchFests and was named the first winner of the Understudies Sketchiest Sketch Troupe Award!
And we still had time to recorded a comedy album in a secret location somewhere around Sudbury (Trev fought some sort of tractor!) `Smells like
the Audio` is its name and who knows, some day you might get to listen too,
or buy your own copy on this very web site one day! Ain't technology grand?
